Jaipur at Wetherspoon

Jaipur is a flagship beer from Thornbridge brewery in Derbyshire, first brewed in 2005 and was the beer that put Thornbridge brewery on the map. Tasting notes for Jaipur are below.

1664 Bière on draught – new world beer
All Wetherspoon pubs across the UK and Ireland will be introducing a new premium draught lager. The beautifully crafted French premium lager, 1664 Bière (4.6% ABV), is being added to the company’s draught beer range.

Pub history
The first Bishop Blaize inn, named after the patron saint of woolcombers, was recorded here in the mid 15th century. Demolished in 1863, its name lives on in this Wetherspoon pub. Stretford also takes its name from a river crossing. After it was demolished, the Bishop Blaize inn was replaced by the Talbot Hotel.
