It is always better to raise any complaints during your pub visit, with the manager on duty. Our pub teams can handle queries or issues on the day much more effectively than our head-office team.

Because of the high volume of requests, we are unable to answer individual questions or complete questionnaires.

Inform the duty manager, as soon as possible, at the venue where the incident occurred.

If you have suffered an accident in one of our pubs/hotels, resulting in injury, e-mail [email protected] with the name and location of the pub, full details of the accident’s circumstances (including date and time) and the name of the person to whom it was reported; please attach full evidence in support of your injuries. 

If you have already spoken to us and are not satisfied with our response, you should seek independent legal advice on how to proceed.

We accept the following methods of payment: cash, Wetherspoon gift cards (available in sterling and euro, debit and credit cards (American Express, Maestro, Mastercard, Visa), JCB, Google Pay and Apple Pay. Some pubs also accept foreign currency (notes only). We will provide a receipt, on request, at the time of ordering.

Payment on the app may also be made using debit and credit cards, Google Pay, Apple Pay and PayPal. JCB is not accepted on the app.

From 15 July 2024, payments on the app in the UK can also be made using Natwest Payit. This facility is not currently available in Ireland.

We do not accept cash (including foreign currency) or Wetherspoon gift cards to pay for hotel accommodation.

Wetherspoon gift cards (sterling) may be purchased and redeemed only in the UK and are not redeemable in the Republic of Ireland. Wetherspoon gift cards (euro) may be purchased and redeemed only in the Republic of Ireland and are not redeemable in the UK.

Gift cards can be purchased in any pub. With the exception of large/bulk orders, they are not available to order online or over the phone.
