1664 Bière on draught – new world beer
All Wetherspoon pubs across the UK and Ireland will be introducing a new premium draught lager. The beautifully crafted French premium lager, 1664 Bière (4.6% ABV), is being added to the company’s draught beer range.

A few metres from this pub is the site of the 17th mansion of the Tremenheere family. John was mayor of Penzance in 1655, since when the name of Tremenheere has appeared in the list of mayors on no fewer than nine occasions, the last time in 1797.
