Spring beer festival
A range of 30 real ales, including five from international brewers, will be available during a 12-day beer festival this spring.
The festival will run from Wednesday 5 to Sunday 16 March, inclusive.

Pub history
This building was originally the Playhouse theatre which had opened in 1929, yet, in the early 1930s, became a cinema. In 1981, it was turned into a bingo hall for a few years and then remained empty, until it reopened as a Wetherspoon pub in 1994.
