Jaipur at Wetherspoon
Wetherspoon pubs will be stocking Jaipur from 9 April.
Jaipur is a flagship beer from Thornbridge brewery in Derbyshire, first brewed in 2005 and was the beer that put Thornbridge brewery on the map. Tasting notes for Jaipur are below.

1664 Bière on draught – new world beer
All Wetherspoon pubs across the UK and Ireland will be introducing a new premium draught lager. The beautifully crafted French premium lager, 1664 Bière (4.6% ABV), is being added to the company’s draught beer range.

Poretti (4.8% ABV) is an Italian premium full-flavoured lager, characterised by a pillowy white head, brilliant clarity and a polished golden colour.

Pub history
Originally four shops, these premises are part of the shopping centre which was officially opened in 1965. The new centre helped to transform Yate from a village into a town. The shopping centre was built on land which was once part of Thorn’s Farm. The 17th-century farmhouse was owned by the Thorn family until 1784. It was then owned by a succession of farmers, until its demolition to make way for the ‘new town’ of Yate.
