Jaipur is a flagship beer from Thornbridge brewery in Derbyshire, first brewed in 2005 and was the beer that put Thornbridge brewery on the map. Tasting notes for Jaipur are below.

1664 Bière on draught – new world beer
All Wetherspoon pubs across the UK and Ireland will be introducing a new premium draught lager. The beautifully crafted French premium lager, 1664 Bière (4.6% ABV), is being added to the company’s draught beer range.

Pub history
In Victorian times, the site of this pub was occupied by a row of cottages named Laura Place, erected in a field known as The Giddy Bridge. In 1770, the field was rented to Nathaniel St Andre, anatomist to King George I. He lost his position at court, owing to the Mary Tofts scandal. In 1726, she claimed to have given birth to 15 rabbits. St Andre believed her – and humiliation soon followed.
