Jaipur at Wetherspoon
Wetherspoon pubs will be stocking Jaipur from 9 April.
Jaipur is a flagship beer from Thornbridge brewery in Derbyshire, first brewed in 2005 and was the beer that put Thornbridge brewery on the map. Tasting notes for Jaipur are below.

1664 Bière on draught – new world beer
All Wetherspoon pubs across the UK and Ireland will be introducing a new premium draught lager. The beautifully crafted French premium lager, 1664 Bière (4.6% ABV), is being added to the company’s draught beer range.
Breakfast deals
Customers at more than 650 Wetherspoon pubs across the UK will be able to enjoy breakfast deals for £2.99 each or less.
Poretti on draught – new world beer
Poretti (4.8% ABV) is an Italian premium full-flavoured lager, characterised by a pillowy white head, brilliant clarity and a polished golden colour.

Pub history
This pub was originally the Forum cinema, built in 1937. In 1936, the Gem was demolished to enable a new cinema to be built. The proposed name was the Savoy, but the name finally chosen was the Forum, from the area’s Roman connections – a link also reflected in the interior design which sported Roman centurions driving chariots, modelled in low relief on the walls and floodlit from the base. There was also a stage, with theatre lighting.
