Jaipur at Wetherspoon
Wetherspoon pubs will be stocking Jaipur from 9 April.
Jaipur is a flagship beer from Thornbridge brewery in Derbyshire, first brewed in 2005 and was the beer that put Thornbridge brewery on the map. Tasting notes for Jaipur are below.

1664 Bière on draught – new world beer
All Wetherspoon pubs across the UK and Ireland will be introducing a new premium draught lager. The beautifully crafted French premium lager, 1664 Bière (4.6% ABV), is being added to the company’s draught beer range.

Poretti (4.8% ABV) is an Italian premium full-flavoured lager, characterised by a pillowy white head, brilliant clarity and a polished golden colour.

Pub history
Aberystwyth was a small settlement until the late 18th century, when it became a fashionable watering place. However, it was the 1864 arrival of the railway which turned the town into a popular seaside resort. In 1922, the railway was taken over by the Great Western Railway. Three years later, the original wooden station and the concourse were replaced by ‘a grand terminus’. This distinctive building is now Yr Hen Orsaf (‘old station’).
