Jaipur at Wetherspoon
Wetherspoon pubs will be stocking Jaipur from 9 April.
Jaipur is a flagship beer from Thornbridge brewery in Derbyshire, first brewed in 2005 and was the beer that put Thornbridge brewery on the map. Tasting notes for Jaipur are below.

1664 Bière on draught – new world beer
All Wetherspoon pubs across the UK and Ireland will be introducing a new premium draught lager. The beautifully crafted French premium lager, 1664 Bière (4.6% ABV), is being added to the company’s draught beer range.
Breakfast deals
Customers at more than 650 Wetherspoon pubs across the UK will be able to enjoy breakfast deals for £2.99 each or less.
Poretti on draught – new world beer
Poretti (4.8% ABV) is an Italian premium full-flavoured lager, characterised by a pillowy white head, brilliant clarity and a polished golden colour.

Pub history
This was built in the 1970s as part of Nailsea’s new shopping precinct and closed in early 2010. Its name is a reminder of Nailsea’s long-lost glass-making industry. The glassworks was one of the largest in the country, producing mainly crown glass for windows and bottles, hence ‘Crown Glass Place’. The works closed in 1873. Much of the site is now under the Tesco car park. A glazed ceramic mural on the car park side of the supermarket shows how crown glass was made in Nailsea.
