Jaipur at Wetherspoon
Wetherspoon pubs will be stocking Jaipur from 9 April.
Jaipur is a flagship beer from Thornbridge brewery in Derbyshire, first brewed in 2005 and was the beer that put Thornbridge brewery on the map. Tasting notes for Jaipur are below.

1664 Bière on draught – new world beer
All Wetherspoon pubs across the UK and Ireland will be introducing a new premium draught lager. The beautifully crafted French premium lager, 1664 Bière (4.6% ABV), is being added to the company’s draught beer range.
Breakfast deals
Customers at more than 650 Wetherspoon pubs across the UK will be able to enjoy breakfast deals for £2.99 each or less.
Poretti on draught – new world beer
Poretti (4.8% ABV) is an Italian premium full-flavoured lager, characterised by a pillowy white head, brilliant clarity and a polished golden colour.

Pub history
The Ivy House, at the west end of High Street, is a grade II listed building described as ‘C18. Much altered in early C19, with later additions’. The Alton Society says that the empty property was ‘refaced in the 18th century in Alton’s only example of gothic style. The Ivy House and nearby Rawdon House are two of several 18th-century buildings in High Street. These two are former private residences lived in by the Dyer family, although neither building is ivy-clad today.
